My colleagues at 黄片荔枝视频 are working on a project called:听Young People, Well-being, and Connectedness in the Time of Distancing听(funded by Quebec鈥檚 Minist猫re de la Sant茅 et des Services Sociaux (MSSS). They are currently recruiting youth participants (16-24 years old) from diverse communities and looking for support to spread the word!

Professors Nicole Ives and Wanda Gabriel have been selected as the 2021 recipients of McGill鈥檚 Award for Equity and Community Building. Their pioneering work with Indigenous Access McGill, the Field Studies course, Indigenous initiatives at McGill, and most recently the BSW program to be delivered in Nunavik are some of the outstanding contributions that are being recognized by McGill for this award.

The School of Social Work is delighted to congratulate Susan Mintzberg PhD Candidate, who was selected as the Graduate Student winner of the Principal's' Prize for Public Engagement for 2021. Since the onset of the pandemic Susan has been actively speaking out about myriad of social issues closely tied to her own doctoral work such as our continued failure to recognize families as experts in the health of their relatives, and the problematic results of top down decision making .
