Biography: 

Dr. Schweitzer completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Montreal and his residency in Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, and Medical Microbiology at »ÆÆ¬ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ. He further completed a research fellowship in the laboratory of Dr. Jean-Sébastien Delisle at Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont in antiviral cellular therapy and a Transplant-Oncology Infectious Diseases Fellowship at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center in »ÆÆ¬ÀóÖ¦ÊÓÆµ York City, where he gained further experience in translational antiviral cellular therapy clinical trials. Dr. Schweitzer will be joining the Hematology-Oncology Transplant Infectious Diseases (ID HOT) service with a focus on the treatment of complex opportunistic viral infections and translational antiviral and cellular therapy research.
