She has been working at McGill for over 22 years\, a cross multiple faculties but servicing mainly the Faculty of Engineering f or their research/service contract and intellectual property commercializa tion needs\, and for helping build the entrepreneurial mindset and skills of its members.\n\nNoha Gerges\, PhD. Mitacs Representative at McGill Univ ersity\n\nMitacs is a national\, not-for-profit organization that has desi gned and delivered research and training programs in Canada for more than 20 years. Working with over 100 academic institutions\, 6\,000 companies/ NGOs\, hospitals\, municipalities and both federal and provincial governme nts\, they build partnerships that support industrial and social innovatio n in Canada. As the Mitacs Business Development Director representing Mita cs at »ÆƬÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵ\, Dr. Noha Gerges is the official contact for McGi ll students and faculty who are interested in Mitacs funding programs. All completed applications are submitted to Dr. Gerges who reviews them then forwards them to the Office of Innovation + Partnerships for final institu tional signature and approval.
