Harassment, Discrimination, and Sexual Violence: McGill Policies, Reporting, and Support

This session will provide information on McGill's Policy on Harassment and Discrimination and McGill’s Policy against Sexual Violence and related resources as well as how to respond to disclosures and/or formally report harassment, discrimination, or sexual violence. Participants will apply what they’ve learned via discussion of case studies. The workshop will be led by the Office for Mediation and Reporting (OMR) and the Office for Sexual Violence Response, Support and Education (OSVRSE), and conducted online via Zoom. By attending this workshop, participants will be better able to:

  • Identify resources available at McGill to support people experiencing or observing impacts of sexual violence
  • Identify the reporting processes available at McGill for situations of sexual violence, harassment and discrimination
  • Respond to disclosures of harassment, discrimination or sexual violence
