  Our underlying philosophy has been that relationships are a central eleme
 nt in healthcare and that physicians and other employees of the healthcare
  system benefit from help with building relational communication skills so
  that they can work more effectively with patients\, colleagues\, and co-w
 orkers. It is about both skills training and culture change. The lecture w
