We will be connecting and doing some fun team-bui lding exercises together. Professor Jafine Hartley from McMaster Universit y is flying in from Toronto just to meet us! His areas of teaching and res earch include applied drama\, health humanities\, and arts-based research practices. When not on the McMaster campus\, Hartley lectures on the healt h humanities at the University of Toronto – Scarborough and works as a fre elance applied drama practitioner in healthcare. For over a decade\, he ha s been integrating drama\, improv\, and play within health professions edu cation. He is interested in questions of how theatre can enhance the perfo rmance of healthcare\, build community\, and create systemic change.
