DESCRIPTION:Choosing Wisely Canada is the national voice for reducing unnec
 essary tests and treatments in Canada. Unnecessary tests and treatments ex
 pose patients to potential harm\, consume precious health care resources\,
  and contribute to the climate crisis. Choosing Wisely Canada works with n
 ational clinician societies to identify and develop recommendations on fre
 quently overused tests and treatments that do not add value to patient car
 e. It mobilizes health care providers and their organizations to adopt the
  recommendations and make them part of routine practice.\n\nThis seminar i

 \n\nResearch Seminar Series\n\n\n	Every month\, a research seminar is held 
 at the Department of Family Medicine where we either feature visiting rese
 archers from other universities\, or showcase the work of our own research
 ers. The seminars are attended by our graduate students\, researchers and 
 clinicians\, and are open to the whole McGill community. They address a wi
 de range of research methods and topics relevant to primary health care\, 
 and provide opportunity for interaction and exchange with the speakers. Th
 e Research Seminars are Fridays at around noon.\n\n
