Overview
Mechanical Engineering : Kinetic theory and conservation equations. Acoustic theory and method of linearization, waves of finite amplitude, wave interactions, Chester-Chisnell-Whitham theory, geometrical shock dynamics, weak shock theory of Chandrasekhar, Friedrichs and Whitham. Detonation shock dynamics.
