Virginie Pilon

Virginie began her career in cancer biology at McGill’s Goodman Cancer Institute with Dr. Morag Park, contributing to cancer research that led to publications in journals such as Nature Communications and Cancer Research. Motivated by this experience and by witnessing the impact of cancer within her own family, she developed a strong interest in cancer prevention, which led her to complete a BSc in Biological Sciences at the Université de Montréal before beginning her MSc in Epidemiology at McGill in Fall 2025. Her thesis will examine the influence of residential air pollution on ovarian cancer recurrence.
